But in today’s America, we are witnessing an unprecedented militarization of sports, and Oakleys sunglasses Outlet a concomitant emphasis on the sportiness of military service. With respect to the latter, take a close look at recent Army recruitment ads (which I happen to see while watching baseball). These ads show soldiers lifting weights, playing volleyball, climbing mountains and similar sporty activities. The voice over stresses that army service promotes teamwork and toughness (“There’s strong. Then there’s army strong.”) There are, oakley outlet of course, no shots of soldiers under direct fire, of wounded soldiers crying for help, of disabled veterans. Army service in these ads is celebrated as (and reduced to) an action filled sequence of sporting events.Rogrio CeniRemarkably, this Goalkeeper is not on this list because of his cat like reflexes, or legendary saves. He is on the list because he is the first, and probably even the last, for some time at least, Goalkeeper to break the 100 goals scored mark during his career. He has 111 oakley outlet goals, in fact, once scoring 10 in a single season. All of his goals come from Penalties and Free Kicks, and his conversion rate would make many midfielders in World wholesale jerseys china football proud. The only Goalkeeper to come close to him was Jos Luis Chilavert, who netted an impressive 56 goals in his career, but was taken over by Ceni 8 years ago, and has went on to double Chilavert’s total.”You come here often?” Get real! What dope would use this line on a girl. Anywhere? Anytime? The odds of a girl falling for this would be about 2 in 500,000. Unless he girl was suffering from a bad case of loneliness, this line made absolutely no sense. If the slick talking guy had said, “I sell cars for a living,” at least that would have sounded sensible. The Seattle Seahawks will likely be without free safety Earl Thomas and cornerback DeShawn Shead, who each have a hamstring injury, for Sunday’s game at Tampa Bay, Coach Pete Carroll said. Buffalo Bills receiver Sammy Watkins made his long awaited return to practice but his status for Sunday’s game against Jacksonville remains up in the air. Jacksonville Jaguars Coach Gus Bradley said quarterback Blake Bortles pretty well in practice despite a sore right shoulder. Bortles said that he got treatment and will good to go when the Jaguars (2 8) play at Buffalo (5 5) on Sunday. Packers running back Eddie Lacy and cornerback Sam Shields will stay on injured reserve for the rest of the season, with Green Bay planning to activate cornerback Makinton Dorleant from injured reserve. After missing three straight games with a hamstring injury, Falcons running back Tevin Coleman says he is percent healthy. Coleman had no restrictions in practice for Sunday’s game against Arizona. He was playing behind starter Devonta Freeman before suffering the injury on Oct. 23 against San Diego. A bye week also helped cornerback Desmond Trufant return from a shoulder injury. .
